Boise Expert Garage Floor Coatings
We are a garage floor coating company in Boise, Idaho, installing high-build epoxy and polyaspartic systems for homeowners from the North End to the foothills and out to Eagle. A coated garage floor is the cheapest square-footage upgrade in the house: it turns a dusty, staining slab into a sealed, wipe-clean surface that laughs off hot tires, oil, and road salt.
Every floor we install is a layered system, not a bucket of paint. We start with a diamond-ground slab, build a moisture-tolerant basecoat, broadcast decorative vinyl flake for traction and shine, then lock it all under a clear polyaspartic topcoat. The result is roughly four times thicker and many times tougher than the roll-on epoxy kits sold at the hardware store.
Hot-Tire Resistant
The number-one killer of cheap garage coatings is hot-tire pickup — warm tires soften weak paint and peel it off in patches. Our flake-and-polyaspartic system is engineered specifically to resist it, so the floor under your truck stays put through every Boise summer.
Salt & Freeze-Thaw Proof
Treasure Valley winters mean slush, ice-melt, and a slab that swings below freezing and back. Our topcoat is non-porous, so brine never soaks in to spall the concrete, and the coating flexes with the seasonal movement instead of cracking.
Our Garage Coating Process
Grind & Repair
We diamond-grind the entire slab to open the pores, then fill cracks and rebuild spalled edges so the surface is sound before a drop of coating goes down.
Basecoat & Flake
A pigmented, moisture-tolerant basecoat is rolled on and broadcast to refusal with your chosen flake blend for grip and color.
Topcoat & Cure
We scrape the excess flake and seal everything under a clear polyaspartic coat. Walk on it that evening; park on it the next day.
Flake Color Options
Your floor is finished with a decorative vinyl flake blend, and the color is yours to choose. We carry dozens of blends — warm earth tones that hide dust, cool grays and blues, and bold custom mixes — plus a range of flake sizes from a subtle texture to a full broadcast. We’ll leave samples so you can see the chips in your own garage light before we order.
What a Coated Floor Costs
Most Boise two-car garages land in a predictable range depending on square footage, how much crack and spall repair the slab needs, and whether you choose a flake-epoxy or full polyaspartic system. We quote a single flat price up front that includes grinding, repair, and all coats — no per-hour surprises. Because we own our grinders and buy materials by the drum, our pricing stays competitive without cutting the prep that makes a floor last.
